For Podcasters
Crumplet is a listening tool built on top of the open podcast ecosystem, not a walled garden that takes your audience or your audio. Here's what that means for you as a creator.
Your download stats stay yours
Crumplet never stores or re-hosts audio. A listener's stream links straight back to your own RSS enclosure URL, so every play is a real hit against your own hosting — your download counts, dynamic ad insertion, and any analytics pixels you've already wired into your feed keep working exactly as they do today. There's no proxy layer for a play to get lost in.
You don’t have to do anything to be included
If your show is already in a public RSS feed — which is true of essentially every podcast — it can already be found through Crumplet’s search (backed by the Podcast Index and iTunes Search) and added to someone’s pool. There’s no submission process, no separate account, and no extra hosting step on your side.
Discovery through a different lens
Crumplet listeners build pools around topics and time slots rather than individual shows, and schedule those pools into their day. That's a different discovery path than a typical podcast app's "everything from everyone you follow, all the time" feed — your show can surface in a listener's morning news pool or evening long-form pool alongside others they've deliberately grouped it with.
Questions, or want a show removed?
Crumplet is pre-launch and run by one person, so if you have a question about how your show appears, or want it excluded from search/discovery, email directly and it'll get handled personally.
